Jurassic Snark: Unearthing The Drama of Housewives Past

Before the table flips, before the lawsuits, before the family fractures—there was just a group of women in Orange County who had no idea they were about to become reality television fossils.

Since discovering Plex’s Bravo Housewives Vault, I have been rewatching and reliving the early days of Housewives past—and I have been loving every second.

There is something nostalgic, and not quite sweet, about seeing everyone with their original faces, before the product launches, the carefully crafted brands, and the awareness that every moment could become a headline. There is something fascinating about looking back and saying, “Oh! That’s how we got here,” more than a decade later.

For me, this became the idea behind Jurassic Snark: a place to relive and reevaluate the birth, evolution, and extinction of some of Housewives’ most iconic moments.

The fun of digging up these old episodes isn’t just remembering what happened—it’s seeing the tiny moments, the throwaway comments, and the relationships we didn’t realize would become Housewives history.
