The Top 10 Dumbest Real Housewives Fights Ever

There have been some truly epic fights in Real Housewives history.

Divorce. Infidelity. Family feuds. Lawsuits. Broken friendships.

And then there are the fights where you sit there wondering how a group of grown women with unlimited money and beautiful homes have somehow decided that THIS is what they are going to scream about.

These are the dumbest.

1. Heather Dubrow vs. Sarah Winchester — The Cake Bow | RHOC

Heather throws a party to celebrate changing her last name to Dubrow.

Sarah Winchester eats the decorative bow off the cake before it is served.

Heather is horrified.

Sarah refuses to apologize.

And suddenly we have a full-scale Housewives emergency over a piece of fondant.

Heather herself later called it “the dumbest fight ever.”

2. Cindy Barshop vs. Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan — The Hangers | RHONY

The women are in Morocco, where Cindy discovers that Sonja has apparently taken some of her hangers.

Yes.

Hangers.

Not jewelry. Not money. Not a husband.

Hangers.

Imagine traveling all the way to Morocco and ending up in a coat-hanger dispute.

3. Ramona Singer vs. Bethenny Frankel — The Salad | RHONY

Bethenny makes lunch.

Ramona wants to go out for lunch.

Bethenny thinks Ramona is being selfish.

Ramona thinks Bethenny is being difficult.

And suddenly a salad has become a major friendship issue.

It is lettuce, Ramona.

4. Crystal Kung Minkoff vs. Sutton Stracke — The Leather Pants | RHOBH

Crystal calls Sutton jealous.

Sutton fires back with one of the greatest Housewives insults of all time:

“Jealous of what? Your ugly leather pants?”

Two wealthy women in Beverly Hills nearly lose their minds over trousers.

The pants were fine, by the way.

5. Mary Cosby vs. Jen Shah — “Smells Like Hospital” | RHOSLC

Mary tells Jen that she smells like hospital.

Jen is furious.

Mary doesn’t seem particularly concerned.

The argument continues, and eventually you are left wondering how two grown women managed to turn someone’s smell into a major Housewives confrontation.

6. Lisa Barlow vs. Meredith Marks — The Hot Mic | RHOSLC

Lisa forgets that her microphone is still on and delivers an entire rant about Meredith.

Meredith hears it.

Lisa has to explain it.

Then they fight about what Lisa said, what she meant, what Meredith heard, and whether Lisa really meant what she said when she forgot she was being recorded.

The dumb part is that Lisa literally had a microphone attached to her.

7. Teresa Giudice vs. Melissa Gorga — The Sprinkle Cookies | RHONJ

Melissa brings sprinkle cookies to Teresa’s house.

Teresa is offended because they aren’t pignoli cookies.

The cookies are thrown in the garbage.

This becomes one of the defining moments in the Teresa/Melissa feud.

They were cookies.

Not even bad cookies.

Just the wrong cookies.

8. Sutton Stracke vs. Crystal Kung Minkoff — The “Violated” Argument | RHOBH

Sutton walks in on Crystal while Crystal is changing.

Crystal says she felt violated.

Sutton becomes fixated on Crystal using that word.

Crystal refuses to take it back.

Sutton can’t let it go.

And eventually we somehow get from a woman accidentally opening a bedroom door to an argument about whether someone is allowed to use the word “violated.”

Then Sutton brings the ugly leather pants into it, because of course she does.

9. Luann de Lesseps vs. Alex McCord — The Herman Munster Shoes | RHONY

Luann takes one look at Alex’s shoes and decides they look like something Herman Munster would wear.

Alex is not amused.

And thus begins another completely unnecessary Housewives argument over footwear.

Because nothing says “we are wealthy women vacationing in Morocco” quite like getting into a fight about somebody’s shoes.

10. Shannon Beador vs. Lydia McLaughlin — The Vicki Comparison | RHOC

Lydia tells Shannon that she gives off Vicki Gunvalson vibes.

Shannon does not take this as a compliment.

What follows is a ridiculous argument over whether being compared to Vicki is an insult, what Lydia meant by it, and why this has suddenly become an issue at a children’s birthday party.

Because nothing says mature adult conflict resolution like getting worked up over being compared to another Housewife while children are eating cake.
