Lisa heads to her friend Ashley’s house, which is under construction. Ashley says she was one of the first people to drink VIDA tequila. Ashley is also friends with Whitney, but Lisa forgives her for it. Ashley tells us about her husband’s nipples. I feel like I am going to dislike her already. Her husband spends most of his time in Florida, and I can see why.
Lisa again brings up Whitney’s drag brunch and the viral video of Whitney saying nasty things about Meredith and Lisa. I feel like this is going to drag on for a while—pun fully intended.
Ashley just wants everyone to get along, but she is on the wrong show for that. Lisa plans to host a ski day, and especially wants to do something nice for Mary.
At Whitney’s house, she is looking super sad. Justin is headed to the gym, but Sad Whitney wants to talk to him first. She discusses the fallout from her viral video, in which she said mean things about the other women, particularly Meredith and Lisa. Whitney says she was drinking too much at the time. She reveals that she is moving her things into the guest bedroom.
She says she and Justin have had problems ever since her business failed, and they now fight about everything. Whitney wants some space away from him, although she loves him deeply and wants to save their family. They debate what they should tell the kids. Whitney wants to keep things private and take things day by day.
Justin leaves for the gym and they hug. Justin thanks her for the hug, which is super awkward.
Bronwyn goes ice skating with her new boyfriend. She has been seeing him every week, and unlike Todd, he actually likes spending time with her. Bronwyn moves on fast for sure, but to be fair, Todd was allegedly dating during their marriage, so I think it’s a draw on who is tackier.
Bronwyn’s boyfriend is so young that he doesn’t even know who Tonya Harding is. This makes me feel old. He wasn’t even born during that scandal, and I wonder how many of my readers were. If you don’t know about it, Google Tonya Harding.
Bronwyn admits her new relationship has been very public and that it has hurt Todd.
Heather goes to see Brittani. Are we really doing the Brittani thing again? I don’t know how she made it past one season. She is super proud of herself because she hasn’t been dating for six whole weeks. Not buying it.
Whitney also comes over, and I wonder how and when the three of these women became so close. Did I miss something? They discuss Mary’s loss of Robert, Jr., and gossip about Bronwyn and her slut phase. Heather approves, but Whitney is confused by Bronwyn’s boyfriend, Brandon. No one is clear on whether Bronwyn is trying to be private or not. Brittani thinks she actually calls the press on herself.
Heather answers some questions about her relationship, and they move on to discussing Lisa’s upcoming ski trip.
Whitney is afraid of dealing with Meredith and getting death stares from her. Heather also doesn’t want to be in Lisa’s crosshairs, since they fought hard at the last reunion. They also argued during RHUGT, so the tension is pretty fresh, and Heather worries she has ruined their friendship. Whitney is glad she is not the only one going to ski day with drama.
Next, we get the actual event. Seeing some of the women is more painful for Meredith than her face lift recovery. I think she means Whitney. And probably Brittani.
On the Sprinter van, the women question why Meredith isn’t drinking or skiing, and she tells them about her face lift. She doesn’t say anything about why she is wearing a really bad wig.
Bronwyn invites everyone to San Francisco for St. Patrick’s Day. Lisa is excited, even though she and Bronwyn are on the outs. Bronwyn hopes they can try again.
Some of the women hit the slopes, and Angie is a mess. This girl is always getting hurt. She is the Vicki Gunvalson of the SLC.
Then, Lisa hits her with the ski lift. Face lift or no face lift, I would be sitting with Meredith while the rest of these biddies tumble down the hill in the snow. I am more an apres ski kind of girl, for sure.
Off the slopes, Ashley and Meredith have fun and chat. Meredith looks unusually friendly, or maybe it’s just the face lift. They rehash all of Meredith and Whitney’s problems, and Ashley hopes they can make up in San Francisco.
Whitney pulls Lisa aside and wants to discuss the video and the drag show brunch. Whitney apologizes and admits that she was coping with alcohol when she made the nasty comments. Lisa still questions Whitney’s loyalty, but accepts that she makes mistakes. She just wishes Whitney would stop making the same ones over and over.
Whitney defends herself, but doesn’t justify her behavior. They both admit they have a soft spot for each other, and agree to try to move on.
They get back in the Sprinter van, and Heather apologizes to Lisa for their recent fights. Lisa says she was really hurt by the RHUGT confrontation. I don’t remember it being that big of a deal, but whatever. Heather blames it on drinking too much, and Lisa thanks her for her apology.
They move on to lunch, and Lisa has her face everywhere, with pictures of her covering every possible surface. Whitney approaches Meredith and tries to apologize. Meredith’s wig is really distracting. Whitney asks if they can move forward, and Meredith immediately says that is not going to happen.
Meredith says Whitney has said horrible things, apologized, and then said horrible things again for years. She does not buy Whitney’s apology at all. The other women encourage Meredith to hear Whitney out. Meredith shows no emotion, which again could be the face lift or the tight wig.
Meredith goes into victim mode and questions why everyone can say rotten things about her. Heather calls Meredith out for saying lousy things about her, and Meredith denies them, especially calling Heather a homophobe.
All of a sudden, Lisa jumps in and makes it about her. Bronwyn then tries to turn the attention to herself. Angie interjects, and Lisa shuts her down. Angie starts getting really pissed, and there is no shutting her down. Is this why they call her “Chirps?” Heather asks them all to knock it off. Angie calms down and reminds everyone how petty these problems are compared to Mary’s son’s death, and everyone is good—for the time being.
