• We see flashbacks of the women partying it up the night before in San Diego. Back at the house, everyone starts waking up to find the place looking like a disaster zone.

It must have been quite a night.

Meredith is wandering around wearing a sleep mask, while Jen is packing a mini fan. They both look a little worse for wear.

Heather messages Jen that she wants to speak to her privately. When Jen answers the door, Heather is wearing black sunglasses and acting extremely mysterious.

She takes off the glasses and reveals a serious shiner.

Her eye is swollen shut and completely blackened.

Heather says she has no idea what happened. Jen, rather than immediately demanding to know who did it, asks whether Heather has put ice on it.

Heather also has dinosaur scratches all up and down her arms and back. Again, she says she doesn’t know how they got there, and she doesn’t want to get anyone in trouble.

Then she says they need a cover story.

    Which is… very suspect.

They brainstorm cover stories, none of which are even remotely believable.

Heather keeps repeating that she doesn’t want anyone to get in trouble, which heavily implies that someone will if the truth comes out.

They call Meredith into the room and reveal the black eye.

    And the scratches.

Meredith is shocked and asks when it happened, because they were all together until 4 a.m. Heather and Jen insist they don’t know.

    It’s all pretty bizarre.

Then Heather says she doesn’t want to talk about it, which once again makes it seem like she knows exactly what happened despite repeatedly insisting that she has no idea.

Lisa and Whitney, blissfully unaware of the black eye situation, are discussing Whitney’s fight with Heather the night before. Whitney doesn’t feel like anything has been resolved and is also upset with Meredith. She thinks Meredith plays puppet master and gets other people to do her dirty work, a la Lisa Vanderpump.

Whitney tells Lisa Barlow that she thinks Meredith has been manipulating the women into speaking poorly about her.

Meanwhile, everyone gets ready to go rollerblading and go-karting, and Heather is dreading all the questions she is going to get once everyone sees her eye.

Whitney says she heard a lot of commotion the night before and asks what happened.

Heather says she thinks they all know what happened but don’t want to talk about it. Then she takes off her sunglasses.

She repeats that she doesn’t know what happened, and at this point she is contradicting herself all over the place.

She eventually admits that maybe somebody clocked her, but she doesn’t want to talk about it.

Whitney is surprised that Heather wants to laugh the whole thing off and doesn’t find the situation funny at all.

The women head off to the go-karts, which Angie planned as a way to tour the city. Heather gets in a cart with Lisa because Lisa will only talk about herself and, more importantly, won’t ask any questions about the black eye.

And we see scenes of Lisa doing exactly that.

Anyone else would have Heather alone for five minutes and immediately start interrogating her, but not our girl Lisa. She has her own life to discuss.

The other women, meanwhile, are discussing the black eye and all agree that it looks like Heather was punched. They don’t believe for a second that Heather genuinely doesn’t remember what happened.

They finish up the go-karts and split into groups for the afternoon, with some going rollerblading and others heading off for wine tasting.

Whitney realizes she has rollerskates instead of rollerblades and has a bit of a panic.

At the winery, the women are ready for food, wine and fun, while Heather is still rocking her sunglasses.

The roller-skating group hits the boardwalk and stops for ice cream. It actually looks pretty fun.

Naturally, they spend the outing speculating about the black eye, because apparently that is now the group activity. Whitney goes so far as to say that if anyone hit Heather, she thinks it was Jen.

Back at the winery, Heather is still being mysterious and seems to be enjoying the entire game. She knows everyone is speculating about her eye, and she seems perfectly happy to let them.

    Jen, meanwhile, is oddly silent.

Heather eventually redirects the conversation to her friendship break with Whitney. She doesn’t want to get pulled into Whitney’s arguments, but she makes it clear that she loves her.

The women start wondering why Lisa and Whitney have suddenly become so close.

Meanwhile, Jen and Meredith start gossiping about Lisa’s business.

This takes some nerve, especially coming from Jen.

When the roller-skating girls tell Lisa that this kind of talk has been going on, she is furious. Lisa immediately goes into defense mode over her brands and businesses and thinks Meredith is retaliating for the hot mic moment.

    And she is correct.

Lisa says nothing is off limits now.

That night, Angie questions Meredith about what she knows about Lisa’s business, and Meredith seems to know a whole lot.

They explain crowdfunding and imply that Lisa’s company is broke. Meredith says she has been getting random direct messages with this information about Lisa.

Angie points out that Lisa certainly doesn’t look broke.

Meredith says she doesn’t count anyone else’s money, but she is clearly doing exactly that.

Angie hosts a Greek Goddesses Dinner at the vacation house, because apparently we haven’t had enough drama for one day.

Before dinner, Lisa tells Angie that she knows what Meredith has been saying about her. Angie confirms that Lisa’s finances were, in fact, a topic of conversation earlier that day.

Angie tells her that Meredith said Lisa’s husband, John, doesn’t work.

    Lisa is furious.

Because nothing says Greek Goddesses Dinner like immediately getting into an argument about your husband’s employment status.

The dinner table looks gorgeous, which of course means these bitches are about to fight through another beautiful meal.

Jen comes in dressed as Athena and announces that she is ready for battle.

Lisa tells us she doesn’t even want to sit at the dinner with the women who have been talking behind her back. She sits at the table muttering to herself, and Jen wants to know why she is so grumpy. Heather also notices that Lisa is unhappy.

Angie makes a silly grand entrance, because apparently every dinner needs one.

She is excited to teach the women about her culture and gives a traditional Greek toast. She also gives each of the women an evil eye charm.

And we all know Heather could use an extra eyeball right about now.

They discuss their days, and Lisa is already feeling snarky.

Whitney flat-out asks who has been discussing Lisa’s business. Lisa wants to know why everyone suddenly cares about her SEC filing and starts questioning Meredith directly.

Lisa tries to explain the situation but says it’s bullshit that they were talking about her behind her back.

Meredith points out that Lisa talks about everyone, and Lisa fires back that she knows Meredith said John Barlow doesn’t have a job.

Lisa pulls Angie into the conversation, and Heather quickly realizes that Angie is a bit of a blabbermouth.

Heather tells Angie that it’s in poor taste to host a dinner while also trying to stir up trouble.

Um… isn’t that kind of the job as a Housewife, though?

Meredith and Lisa start arguing over who has insulted whose husband more. Lisa wants to move forward, while Meredith is still holding a grudge because Lisa said Meredith called her mentally ill.

She totally did, by the way.

Lisa questions everyone’s intentions and calls Meredith out for holding a grudge. They bitch back and forth at each other, and I knew this dinner was in trouble from the get-go.

Whitney asks how they move forward, and Heather, wearing her eye patch, gets preachy about friendship.

And we still don’t know who gave her the black eye.

    Yet.

  • The women are at Beauty Lab, packed into the Sprinter van and ready to head to Vail. Jen has taken off, claiming there is a medical emergency.

Unfortunately for Jen, about five seconds after she leaves, the NYPD and FBI show up looking for her.

The women have absolutely no idea what to do.

Heather feels like she should call Jen and warn her. Lisa wants nothing to do with any of this and immediately gets on the phone with her lawyer, because apparently this is the point where you start consulting legal counsel.

Whitney calls her husband and says she doesn’t believe there was ever a family emergency. She thinks Jen got a tip that the authorities were coming and is now on the run.

Heather calls Jen, but Jen doesn’t answer. So Heather texts her to let her know that the cops are looking for her.

Nothing says “fun girls’ trip to Vail” quite like sitting in a Sprinter van while the FBI hunts for one of your friends.

The women are all freaking out and desperately trying to figure out what the hell is going on. Heather is understandably mortified that federal law enforcement has shown up at her business, which is not exactly the kind of Beauty Lab publicity she was hoping for.

They start wondering whether they should still go on the trip. Could they somehow be considered guilty by association for whatever Jen is in trouble for? Because nothing says “innocent bystander” like immediately wondering whether you might also be implicated.

Since Jen is clearly not coming back, the women eventually make the only reasonable decision: they eat her snacks and head to Vail.

    As one does.

It’s barely 10 a.m. and there is already a lot going on in the SLC.

Meredith arrives at the Vail rental house ahead of the other ladies and takes a tour of the gorgeous place. It comes with champagne and an “experience coordinator,” which is exactly the kind of unnecessary luxury I want in my life.

By 11 a.m., the other women are still in the van and still talking about Jen. They are now afraid to even contact her because they don’t know if her texts are being tracked. They start wondering how the FBI knew where to find Jen and whether one of the women tipped them off.

Lisa gets on the phone with her husband and quietly says, “I think Meredith might know something.”

These women never remember that they are wearing microphones.

They start theorizing about why the NYPD was there in the first place. Since Jen’s business is headquartered in New York, they figure it must have something to do with that.

Whitney, meanwhile, seems to know an awful lot about what is going on.

    Just saying.

The ladies all admit they have no idea what Jen actually does for a living, except for Whitney, who launches into an explanation of online marketing and lead generation.

Even Whitney doesn’t understand how that business is funding Jen’s lavish lifestyle. She says their friend is in a lot of trouble, and, well, she is very much correct.

It’s 11:35 a.m., and they still have five more hours in the car.

    Yikes.

The women are now turning their attention to Lisa, who they all agree is behaving oddly and acting guilty.

At 12:05 p.m., the van has gone completely silent, and the women look exhausted. Lisa finally breaks the silence and asks whether they think Jen will actually show up for the trip.

Heather hopes she will. Whitney looks doubtful.

Then an article comes through on Whitney’s phone: Jen has been charged with fraud and money laundering.

The women are stunned. They are watching this unfold in real time, sitting in a Sprinter van on the way to Vail, and honestly, so am I.

    This is Housewives gold.

They find out that Jen’s assistant has also been arrested, and Heather and Lisa are crying. Whitney, meanwhile, is sitting there smirking.

The women hug and wonder whether they should still go on the trip.

    We know they will.

They start scrolling through the breaking news articles and learn that Jen is facing up to 30 years in prison. The women are understandably freaking out as more details come pouring in.

Then they learn that Jen and her assistant allegedly targeted elderly and vulnerable people.

Once again, Whitney seems to know an awful lot about all of this. She is explaining the details like she has been conducting her own investigation into Jen and her business for months.

    It’s strange.

    And she is still smirking.

Meanwhile, a little after 12 p.m., we cut to Park City, where squad cars and a helicopter converge on Jen’s house.

A full SWAT team moves in with guns drawn and takes everyone out of the house at gunpoint.

Seeing Jen’s young son, Omar, caught up in this is genuinely upsetting. Whatever anyone thinks of Jen, watching her child experience this is difficult.

The FBI and Homeland Security have warrants to raid the house, and the situation has suddenly become very, very real.

They continue on to Vail, because of course they do, and Lisa calls Meredith.

It’s now 2:36 p.m., and Meredith is waiting for the women to arrive. She hasn’t been checking the news or her texts, so the women fill her in on their extremely eventful morning.

Meredith says she isn’t surprised that Jen has been arrested.

The women are shocked by her reaction and immediately start wondering if she knows something.

Meredith says she had a lot of question marks surrounding Jen, and the arrest validates her suspicions.

Now the women think Meredith knows more than the rest of them because she is remarkably unfazed by the whole thing.

Later that afternoon, we see the press going after Jen as she is released on bail.

Meanwhile, the other women are still in the car.

I hate a long car ride, and Jen has somehow managed to flee, get arrested, get arraigned, and get released on bail while these broads are still chugging along the highway.

    I feel for them.

Whitney is still playing Nancy Drew and acting like an expert on all things fraud. Lisa thinks she is making a lot of assumptions.

At this point, they have been in that van so long they could probably file for residency.

At 4:13 p.m., Mary arrives at the rental house in Vail. Meredith is in her favorite place: the tub.

She looks completely relaxed and happy.

    And nude.

She does not seem remotely concerned or upset about the Jen situation. Mary has just heard what happened and is completely shocked, so they hash everything out while Meredith continues soaking like this is a perfectly normal afternoon.

Mary is speechless, which seldom happens.

She can’t believe she had no idea what Jen was involved in, while Meredith says she isn’t surprised by any of it.

At 4:56 p.m., Meredith finally stops playing Tony Montana and gets out of the tub.

That water must be cold as hell by now. I don’t get it.

Back in the van, we find out that Mary is mad at Whitney for ignoring her phone call. Jennie Tran says she finds Mary bossy and rude.

So their friend was just busted for fraud, and somehow that isn’t even going to be the biggest drama of this trip.

The women FINALLY arrive at the house and are ready to gossip with Meredith and Mary.

Holy shit. Meredith is back in the tub.

Or did she never get out?

She greets all of the women from the bath, because apparently this is just where she lives now.

They all choose their rooms, and by 6:11 p.m., Lisa is back on the phone with her husband while Mary is on the phone with hers.

They are both discussing Jen, of course.

The “experience coordinator” shows up to present their chef-made dinner, which looks great. These women have remarkably good appetites considering the day they’ve had.

At dinner, Meredith wants to know what everyone thinks about Jen’s arrest. It’s 8:41 p.m., and this is the moment we’ve been waiting for: all the women are finally together, ready to dish.

They all agree the whole thing has been surreal. Whitney says she heard Jen was arrested on the side of the road while fleeing. The women agree there has to be more to the story than what they currently know.

Mary says Jen is reaping what she sowed. She says she never saw anything good in Jen, which is certainly one way to describe a friendship.

Meredith then reveals that months earlier, she got a call from Jen, who was trying to get into Meredith’s store while it was closed. Later, Meredith’s manager called and told her that a green clutch was missing from the store. One of Jen’s assistants eventually returned the bag, but there’s more: Jen apparently did not fire the assistant who stole it, despite the theft being caught on video.

Meredith has also heard that Jen is red-flagged at Louis Vuitton for paying in cash.

It all sounds suspicious, but Meredith sure does have a LOT of information about Jen, which is also suspicious.

Heather tells a story about getting an Uber for Jen and discovering that Jen got out at a completely different destination than the one she had selected. It was around 11 p.m., and the women find the whole thing suspicious.

Lisa seems to know something too, and she implies that Jen may have met up with a man.

Naturally, the women immediately pressure Lisa to spill whatever she knows, pointing out that Jen has potentially put all of them in danger.

And with that, their first day in Vail comes to an end.

It’s been one hell of a ride.

    Literally.

  • I have been getting some emails requesting this franchise and I am ready! I’ve watched it before, so let’s dig in to the very first episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

The episode kicks off with shots of the scenery around Salt Lake City, and it looks VERY different from the locations we have seen before. We hear the women doing voiceovers about what makes the city so unique, particularly the combination of society, wealth, and the Mormon church. We also get some flash-forwards of the women fighting throughout the season, and, I have to say, it looks legit. I am intrigued.

    Now, let’s meet the ladies.

At Jen Shah’s rented chalet, we meet Coach Shah, who is making breakfast for Jen. They have two sons, Rief and Omar. Jen explains that her ethnicity is unusual in Utah because the area is not particularly diverse. She tells us how hard her husband works and how grateful she is for the lifestyle they have created. I bet. Jen tells us that she used to be Mormon but converted to Islam for her husband. She then tells her son not to kiss anyone, so he doesn’t catch AIDS. Oh, man, get that medical degree STAT.

Her oldest son is planning on going to med school, and that is going to cost a pretty penny.  Hope Jen is saving up other people’s money!

We meet Heather Gay next. She runs a successful beauty spa, which seems pretty appropriate considering she tells us that Mormonism teaches that perfection is attainable and should be sought. Sounds like she owns the perfect business for that.

We see her daughters, and Heather tells us she is a purebred, pedigreed Mormon. She married into extreme wealth, with her ex-husband’s family considered “Mormon royalty” and, according to Heather, worth billions.

But Heather is divorced, and she is having a hard time reconciling that with her Mormon faith. Divorce is clearly something she has struggled with, particularly because of the expectations she grew up with. She has also built a lifestyle that doesn’t exactly fit with traditional Mormon teachings, and she isn’t sure how she feels about any of it yet.

So basically, Heather is a divorced Mormon running a beauty empire while trying to figure out what the hell happened to the perfect life she was promised. I have a feeling we’re going to be hearing a LOT about this.

At Meredith Marks’ rental, her son, Brooks, appears for the first time. He becomes quite the staple on the show, and a  breakout star in his own way. Meredith, her husband Seth, and Brooks are going hiking. Not my jam, but sure.

Meredith explains that they split their time between Chicago and Utah. She has been married to Seth for 23 years and they have three children. Brooks is the most interesting one, and he does Meredith’s makeup every day. I want a Brooks.

Meredith owns a jewelry store in Utah and designs jewelry, while Seth’s work keeps him traveling and spending significant time away. So, that’s a balancing act.

Next up is Lisa Barlow. She has the most annoying voice I have ever heard, and she REALLY loves Lisa Barlow and Lisa Barlow’s life. She wants us to know this.

We see her waking her sons up and getting her dog dressed for a walk. Yes, her dog. She is from New York and Jewish by heritage, but Mormon by choice. She and her husband, John, have been married for 16 years, and their sons are Jack and Henry.

Then, we hear about VIDA tequila for the first time. In ensuing episodes, Lisa will not shut up about this and never misses an opportunity to plug it. We are about to become VERY familiar with VIDA tequila.

The family lives on drive-thru and fast food. I don’t know how Mormon that is, but whatever.

Jen Shah visits Heather’s spa for some treatments, and we learn that they have known each other for a few years. Jen gets Botox in her armpits. Seriously? Now I have to worry about my armpits aging? That’s just great.

They discuss Meredith’s upcoming birthday and decide to host a Studio 54 party at Jen Shah’s house. This seems like a perfectly reasonable idea, except Meredith doesn’t seem like she thinks it’s refined enough for her. We shall see.

We cut to Whitney Rose’s wedding day. She has actually been married to her husband for 10 years and they have two kids. Whitney reveals that her husband is 18 years older than she is, and that they were both married when they met. Very Mormon.

Whitney was excommunicated from the church, and she is also Heather’s cousin, so apparently there is already some family history here.

Whitney has an annoying little baby voice that drives me nuts, but I don’t hate her. In fact, I suspect Whitney may grow on me.

We move to Jen Shah with her assistant, Stuart. She tells us he does everything. Hmm. Let’s see how that plays out in court, Jen.

For now, they are busy planning Meredith’s birthday party, which seems to be shaping up as the main event for the ladies.

We go back to Meredith’s and see her getting ready for Lisa to come over. Lisa arrives, and these two look so much alike to me that it was hard to keep them straight at first.

Jen is also on her way over and arrives shortly after Lisa, in stilettos, in the snow. Because apparently, hypothermia is not an acceptable reason to sacrifice an outfit.

Lisa tells us she is the queen of the Sundance Film Festival, so I guess that’s pretty fancy.

Jen brings up that Lisa went to school with Heather and has known her for 20 years. Lisa says she doesn’t remember Heather. Lol. Those two aren’t going to get along. I feel it.

Lisa says she DOES remember that Heather was a good-time girl in college.

    Oh, this should be fun.

We meet Mary Cosby, and she meets up with Whitney. Mary is very unfiltered. I mean, VERY.

Mary has been married for 21 years. To her step-grandfather.

Evidently, her grandmother “left” her husband to Mary in the will, and that’s not weird at all.

Mary and her husband run a Pentecostal church, which she also inherited from her grandmother. Because of course she did.

Mary tells a story about telling Jen that she smelled “like hospital.” If that sounds bizarre, it’s because it is. It all is, and I am here for it.

Jen didn’t even want to invite Mary to Meredith’s party because she is so offended by the whole thing. And I have a feeling this is going to continue developing in true Housewives fashion.

We see the setup for the party at Jen’s house, and it looks extravagant. I wish I had a friend who was willing to spend ill-gotten gains on me like that.

Jen also has at least three assistants, and that’s gotta get pricey.

Heather stops by, and Jen tells her that Lisa denied knowing her. Heather is not happy. Storms are brewing in SLC.

Heather feels Lisa is being dismissive and takes serious offense to the “good-time girl” comment. She insists it isn’t true. She was a virgin when she got married and even signed BYU’s Honor Code.

    Heather is VERY offended.

And suddenly, Meredith’s birthday party has the potential to be considerably more entertaining than anyone planned.

We go to Meredith’s, where Seth has had Brooks set up a rose paradise for Meredith’s birthday. It’s beautiful, but Seth won’t actually be in town for her birthday.

Meredith is surprised by all of the roses and thinks it’s beautiful, but she’d obviously rather have Seth there in person. She appreciates the gesture, but she’s disappointed that he won’t be there to celebrate with her.

We get to the night of the party, and Meredith is dressed like a Muppet for reasons I cannot fathom. Lisa is wearing all black, because she is a New Yorker. Whitney is dressed like Barbie, and Jen’s house is decked out in the best that stolen money can buy.

I would go to this party, as long as I never had to give a deposition about it or anything like that.

Heather is very ready to party and loves the shirtless male servers. All of the other women arrive, the cocktails are flowing, and little fractures are already beginning to form.

Heather is still annoyed that Lisa said she doesn’t remember her and hasn’t approached her about it yet, but she will.

Jen makes her grand entrance, even though it is Meredith’s party, and there is a dance performance that is very cool and probably cost a bundle. Jen reminds us that she is extravagant. She might want to keep her mouth shut about that on camera.

Heather finally goes to say hello to Lisa, and Lisa completely blows her off like she is a stranger. Heather wonders if she is being shunned for being a divorced Mormon.

Jen and Mary sit down together to hash out the hospital-smell fight. It’s pretty ridiculous, but they are dead serious.

Mary says she almost died in a hospital and can’t stand the smell of them. Jen is insulted that Mary was insensitive to her after Jen had just visited her aunt in the hospital—the source of the smell.

Keri, Jen’s friend, chimes in, and Mary says she also smells like hospital.

    LMAO.

Mary is a very special kind of Housewife.

These women really do hit different, and I am not sure why. Maybe it’s the snow, or the altitude.

Jen storms off and yells that Mary is disrespecting her family, and that’s the end of Episode 1.

  • We’re back with another episode of RHUGT, otherwise known as a bunch of old dinosaurs sitting around while the show reminds us of things we already watched.

So far, this season has been less “Ultimate Girls Trip” and more “Previously on The Real Housewives,” with an impressive amount of flashbacks and very little actually happening in the present. I am already tired, and the episode hasn’t even given me a reason to be awake yet.

I’m sorry if the recaps for this show have been a little flat. I just don’t feel like there has been much action to work with. I’m hoping tonight delivers, because I would really like to have something to work with besides footage I’ve already seen.

Let’s see if these dinosaurs can manage to do something interesting.

The ladies are still in Beverly Hills, and Kyle is preparing to host her famous white party. She’s been throwing these things since 2004, so naturally we get a montage of white parties from years past. Because if there’s one thing this episode loves, it’s a flashback.

Mauricio is planning to stop by, which makes Kyle sad since it’s the day after their thirtieth anniversary. We see all of the women getting ready for the party, and Luann is wearing wings. I’m assuming this means she’ll be performing at the party. Lord help us all.

Erika and Sutton arrive. Oh, and Teddi is there. I can’t with Teddi.

Eileen Davidson, Adrienne Maloof, and Camille Grammer also arrive, and we are really bringing out the dinosaurs tonight.

Oh, shit. Denise Richards and Meredith Marks are there. This might be some fun, after all. Here’s hoping.

So far, though, the episode is so bogged down with flashbacks that I can’t tell. They are pretty much nonstop.

The party does look pretty, and everyone looks nice. All of the women are impressed.

Luann is having trouble with her wings, as one does.

Lisa Barlow is happy to see Meredith, but nervous about seeing Bronwyn. Whitney from SLC is also there, and since Whitney and Meredith are not speaking, I am hoping something will go down.

Lisa is also not speaking to Whitney, but Porsha and Gizelle are friendly with her. Then Mauricio shows up, and his interaction with Kyle is pretty awkward, which is to be expected. He will never emotionally fulfill her. Know that.

Luann is still prancing around in her wings and tells us she is worried about seeing Erika because they have issues stemming from Bravocon, when Luann called Erika one of the rudest Housewives she has ever met.

This chick films with Ramona, so that is really saying something.

Gizelle realizes that the Salt Lake women are completely ignoring each other and asks Whitney about it. Bronwyn and Whitney warn Gizelle to watch out for Lisa and Meredith.

Naturally, we get a bunch of flashbacks of fights between all the Salt Lake women. And you know what? It actually makes me want to watch RHOSLC. I think I might start recapping it. It’s gotta be better than this pack of dinosaurs rehashing the same old fossils.

Luann gets ready to make her grand entrance. Kyle introduces her, and Luann comes strutting in wearing her wings and a harness.

    Of course she does.

Luann performs one of her songs, accompanied by a man dressed like a bush. It’s so bad. I mean, it’s really exceptionally bad. This may be the worst I have ever heard her sound.

Oh, the bush is a callback to her iconic fall in Mexico. That is one of my favorite scenes, but the bush man is still an odd touch.

The performance finally ends and everyone tells Luann how great she was. Okay. Lisa says she was a 12/10, and then we get to watch the other women attempt to sing over the years. It makes my teeth hurt.

We find out that Dorit and Kyle still aren’t speaking. Erika and Luann finally come face to face, and Erika is ICY. Luann wants to talk to her, but Erika walks away. Luann says Erika is a bitch.

My husband just came into the room and said, “Oh, finally. Something is happening.”

    I hope he’s right.

Kyle encourages Luann to speak with Erika, so Lu tries again. Erika cuts her off and says Luann kicked her when she was down, and if Erika was rude, it’s because she was going through something.

And then they totally make up.

    That’s it. Nothing happens.

This could have been a good showdown between the divas, but no such luck. We were promised drama, and instead we got a heartfelt resolution. I feel robbed.

Vicki also has issues with Luann, so maybe something will come of that. Gizelle and Porsha gossip about the fact that the SLC women clearly cannot stand each other, and Gizelle plans to ask Heather Gay about it when they see her in Atlanta. Gizelle is on the case.

Vicki thinks Luann has been poking at her, so she pulls her aside. Sorry, I just skipped over a bunch more flashbacks. It’s late and this dinosaur is pooped.

So anyhow, Vicki and Luann sit down, and Vicki says she feels bad that everyone gave her a hard time about working in the car on the drive to Beverly Hills. She says she has huge responsibilities and pressure, and Vicki says she feels like Luann doesn’t like her.

She did, after all, call her Porky Pig, which is worse than Miss Piggy.

It totally is. I saw that was going to be trouble when Luann said it, and here we are.

Luann tells Vicki that people find her irritable and don’t want to hear her unsolicited financial advice. Vicki agrees, as long as Luann stops singing.

The Beverly Hills women rehash their lives on the show throughout the years, and we get, surprise! Some flashback packages.

Camille gives a speech for Kyle, and it’s just not interesting. She basically just kisses Kyle’s ass for a few minutes.

This whole cast is kissing her ass, and this show is boring.

    And now we’ve said it.
