Kyle Richards has been on RHOBH since the beginning, so naturally, the Jurassic fossil record is extensive. From throwing her own sister under the bus to questioning someone’s trauma, Kyle has had plenty of moments where the “nice Kyle” act completely fell apart.

1. The Sutton miscarriage interrogation
Kyle inserting herself into the conversation about Sutton’s miscarriages was absolutely brutal. When Sutton discussed her own painful experiences, Kyle responded with “We don’t know that,” essentially demanding proof of Sutton’s trauma.
There are Housewives arguments, and then there’s questioning someone’s deeply personal loss on camera. Not a good look, Kyle.
2. Outing Kim’s alcoholism
The Season 1 limo fight with Kim Richards remains one of the darkest moments in RHOBH history.
Kyle didn’t just argue with her sister. She exposed Kim’s struggle with alcoholism on national television during an explosive confrontation.
When Erika Jayne went after Garcelle’s teenage son, Kyle’s reaction was… laughter.
Watching a grown woman verbally unload on a 14-year-old and finding the situation funny is difficult to defend. Kyle wasn’t the one being attacked, and she certainly didn’t need to encourage the chaos.
4. The Puppygate pile-on against Lisa Vanderpump
Kyle went from one of Lisa Vanderpump’s closest friends to one of the people confronting her over Puppygate.
The infamous visit to Villa Rosa ended with Kyle essentially being shown the door.
Kyle insisted she was simply asking questions. Lisa saw it very differently.
And just like that, one of the longest-running RHOBH friendships was toast.
At the Season 1 reunion, Kyle compared Lisa Vanderpump to chess master Bobby Fischer, describing their friendship as essentially playing chess with someone who is always several moves ahead.
The irony?
Kyle would eventually spend years accusing LVP of being manipulative and calculating — while simultaneously proving she had understood that side of Lisa from the beginning.
Maybe Kyle should have taken notes.
9. The Denise Richards takedown
Season 10 turned into a full-scale interrogation of Denise Richards over the Brandi Glanville allegations.
Kyle was part of the group repeatedly pressing Denise for answers, while the storyline increasingly became less about what actually happened and more about forcing Denise to admit something she repeatedly denied.
Watching several women gang up on one cast member was ugly.
The Kathy Hilton situation became one of the ugliest family feuds RHOBH has ever aired.
After the infamous Aspen meltdown, Kyle found herself caught between defending her sister and confronting her over what allegedly happened.
But instead of keeping the family drama private, it became another Housewives storyline — with Kyle ultimately accusing Kathy of saying horrible things about her and their family.
Whatever actually happened in that sprinter van, watching another Richards sister relationship implode on camera was bleak.

1. Diamonds and Rosé Lisa hosts a party at Villa Rosa featuring champagne, elaborate decorations, and her miniature horses, Diamonds and Rosé. Most people name a cocktail after themselves. Lisa names ponies after cocktails and then invites everyone over to meet them.
2. Hanky and Panky Lisa’s Villa Rosa came complete with two swans named Hanky and Panky. They weren’t visiting for the afternoon. They were residents. Lisa Vanderpump looked at her Beverly Hills mansion and decided what it really needed was a pair of swans gliding around the property.
3. Opening PUMP Lisa opens PUMP, her glamorous West Hollywood restaurant, with a star-studded party, a rosé carpet, champagne, and Giggy making an appearance. Lisa doesn’t simply open a restaurant. She opens a restaurant like she’s unveiling a new wing of Buckingham Palace.
4. The Giggy Treatment Lisa never treated Giggy like an ordinary dog. He had designer clothes, tiny tuxedos, elaborate costumes and his own place at the table. The tiny Pomeranian became one of the most recognizable accessories in Housewives history.
5. Pandora’s Million-Dollar Wedding Lisa and Ken transform Villa Rosa into an extravagant wedding venue for Pandora. Lavish flowers, elaborate tables, candles and the gorgeous outdoor setting make the whole thing look like a royal wedding held in someone’s backyard.
Jennifer Aydin has never been accused of lacking confidence.
Whether she’s arguing with a castmate, bragging about her wealth, defending her marriage, getting spectacularly drunk, throwing a drink, or insisting that she is absolutely right while everyone around her looks horrified, Jennifer commits to the bit.

2. The Sprinkle Cookies Melissa brings sprinkle cookies to Teresa’s house for Christmas, creating one of the most ridiculous fights in RHONJ history. Years later, she turns the infamous cookies into an actual business. You have to admire the commitment to keeping yourself on display.
3. The Long-Lost Sister Melissa gets a psychic reading that leads her to believe she may have a previously unknown sister. We then spend part of the season investigating the mysterious woman who may or may not have been connected to her father. Melissa even takes a DNA test. The mystery ultimately goes nowhere.
4. The Fourth Baby Melissa and Joe start discussing whether they should have a fourth child, with Melissa even exploring her fertility options. It becomes a full Housewives storyline despite the fact that no fourth Gorga baby ever arrives. Jennifer Aydin later accused Melissa of creating the storyline for the show, which Melissa denied.
5. The Envy Opening Melissa opens Envy and gives us a front-row seat to the entire process. There is the boutique, the clothes, the opening and plenty of Melissa celebrating herself as a successful businesswoman. And to be fair, Envy actually became a legitimate long-running business.
6. The Posche Fashion Show The Posche fashion show becomes Melissa’s big introduction to one of RHONJ’s most explosive scandals when allegations about her past as a stripper surface. Suddenly, Melissa isn’t just attending the party—she IS the party.
7. “I’m On My Knees!” During the Lake George retreat, Melissa literally gets down on her knees while pleading with Teresa to stop hurting her family. It is an extraordinarily dramatic moment, and Melissa makes sure everyone understands exactly how much this family conflict means to her.
8. Strippergate The allegations about Melissa’s past become one of the biggest storylines of her early Housewives career. Whether you believe the various versions of what happened or not, Melissa certainly got plenty of screen time out of the controversy.
9. The “Family” Campaign Melissa spends years insisting that Teresa needs to accept Joe, Melissa and their family. Weddings, holidays, dinners and vacations repeatedly become opportunities to discuss the Gorga-Giudice relationship. Melissa somehow manages to make being Teresa’s sister-in-law a full-time occupation.
10. Making “On Display” Her Personal Anthem Melissa didn’t just record a song called “On Display.” She turned it into her signature Housewives anthem. Years later, the song is still part of her Bravo identity. At this point, if Melissa walks into a room and doesn’t perform it, was she even really there?
